Katie and Lucas’s autumn wedding at Hotel Monaco DC was filled with warmth, joy, and an unmistakable sense of celebration. Set in the heart of Washington, DC, their wedding embraced the season through vibrant color and thoughtful floral design, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming, energetic, and perfectly suited to fall.

For the ceremony, Katie carried a French hand-tied bouquet that captured the spirit of the season. Yellow cymbidium orchids, bi-color Circus roses, mango mini calla lilies, yellow ranunculus, bi-color yellow and red dahlias, and yellow spray roses were layered together with soft accents of sage green seeded eucalyptus. The bouquet was finished with a white double-faced satin ribbon wrapped in a criss-cross style, adding a polished and elegant detail.

As guests arrived to the Paris Ballroom at the Hotel Monaco, they were welcomed by a bold escort card table arrangement designed to set the tone for the celebration. Curly willow branches added height and movement, while orange and yellow gladiola, cream stock, yellow mokara orchids, and bright orange Chinese lanterns created a striking display that immediately conveyed the warmth and vibrancy of the season.

Katie and Lucas exchanged vows beneath a simple, classic chuppah constructed of four corner poles and draped in natural white silk crepe fabric. The clean, timeless structure allowed the moment to remain the focus, while floral posies placed at the front corners added color and softness. Yellow mokara orchids, Circus roses, mango callas, yellow spray roses, and yellow ranunculus were used to accent the chuppah without overwhelming its elegant simplicity.

At the reception, guest tables were styled with glass cylinder vases filled with mixed floral arrangements in varying shades of yellow and orange. The designs echoed the blooms used throughout the wedding, creating a cohesive look from ceremony to reception. The couple’s wedding cake was finished with coordinating orange and yellow flowers, tying the floral story together in one final detail.
