Lisa and Liam’s wedding was every bit as elegant as their historic Willard Intercontinental Hotel DC location. Embracing the soft ivory, champagne and peach hues of the wedding Lisa’s bouquet featured garden roses, spray roses, ranunculus, and stock, the perfect complement to the elegant Willard Intercontinental Wedding. Boutonnieres featured a classic rose accented with bear grass.
The ceremony in the Crystal Room made quite the statement. A lucite chuppah focused the attention for the ceremony, with the front valance adorned with a lush line of hydrangea and roses in classic whites and ivories. Flanking the chuppah, lush arrangements of hydrangea, roses, spray roses and orchids stood atop pedestals of varying heights.
The reception in the Grand Ballroom featured a mix of three separate but complimentary centerpiece designs. Providing the initial drama in the reception of the room, tall glass trumpet vases held a lot elegant design for white hydrangea, roses, spray roses, and orchids with touches of peach and champagne stock and roses providing a hint of color. Floating candles surrounded the base of these arrangements. Long tables mixed things up in the room, with flowers and taper candles interspersed along the length of the table. Finally, the balance of the round tables featured an elegant glass footed bowl with a richly textured design of wedding flowers in peaches, champagnes and ivories.
