Pink Elegance at Willard Hotel Washington DC Wedding

Pink Elegance at Willard Hotel Washington DC Wedding

There are weddings, and then there are weddings. We had the joy of flowering Sophia and Daniel’s for their Willard Hotel in Washington DC wedding falls into the latter category. The Willard InterContinental Hotel, located in the heart of Washington DC, is a storied and iconic establishment that exudes elegance, historical significance, and grandeur. Known affectionately as “The Residence of Presidents,” the hotel has been a centerpiece of the city’s social and political life since it first opened its doors in 1818.

Sophia carried a classic design of light pink Sweet Eskimo roses, the stems wrapped completely in ivory satin ribbon. Her maid of honor carried a similar but smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

But what truly stood out was the modern chuppah in the Crystal Room. Imagine gold poles, minimalist yet grand, adorned with an asymmetrical design of ethereal pink baby’s breath and roses. It wasn’t just a structure; it was a statement. A declaration of modern love, wrapped in the timeless beauty of pink florals.

As guests transitioned to the reception, they were greeted by table centerpieces that continued the theme of delicate romance. Pink baby’s breath and roses nestled in white demi bowls graced each table, creating a dreamy landscape that felt both intimate and grand. The long tables boasted a simple yet elegant touch with white milk glass bud vases, each cradling a single pink rose. This repetition of elegance echoed the timeless charm of the Willard Hotel itself, marrying the venue’s rich history with our contemporary floral artistry.

Then there was the sweetheart table, a breathtaking vision with a dramatic cascade of baby’s breath. It was like a cloud descended from a rosy sky, creating an aura of enchantment around the newlyweds.

Scenes from holiday pasts and present. While December tends to be a low volume time for weddings, we love the range of things we have gotten to do, from inviting the community into our studio for wreath workshops to helping businesses and hotels decorate with garland, trees and more for the holidays. Do you have a favorite way to decorate?

We will be closing soon for a much needed holiday break. See you in the new year!

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
