Fairmont Hotel DC Wedding
This past fall, we had the honor of working with Annie and David to bring their Fairmont Hotel wedding to life. You cannot compile a list of the best DC wedding venues without mentioning the Fairmont Hotel. From the intimate Colonnade Room to the Grand Ballroom, the traditional vibe is glamorous from start to finish. So that being said, this charming couple wanted play up that elegance.
To start, we paired classic whites and ivories with warm, candlelight shades of champagne and gold. Add touches of eucalyptus, garden roses, and dahlias and we had a recipe for a romantic and classic fall floral palette. And while the bouquets were STUNNING, that was just the start to this incredibly stylish fall wedding at the Fairmont Hotel.
St. Mary’s Armenian Church Ceremony
The wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Armenian Church. If you haven’t visited, it’s a gorgeous church in northwest DC. Simple altar arrangements graced the sanctuary.
Fairmont Hotel Grand Ballroom Reception
Once guests arrived to the Fairmont for the reception, they were greeted with a luxurious and dramatic room of tall gold glass vases. Each elevated stand was topped with a classic designs of white hydrangea, stock, champagne roses, ivory spray roses, and lisianthus finished with soft gray-green eucalyptus foliage. Filling the table level of the designs were alternating gold julep cups with hydrangea and eucalyptus and elevated glass stands with floating candles for a romantic glow. A stylish fall wedding ballroom you just want to twirl around in.
