LINE Hotel wedding ceremony

If you’re looking for a stunning wedding venue in Washington, DC, the LINE Hotel is a must-see. As one of the newest additions to the DC wedding scene, it offers a unique and unforgettable setting. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Rachel and Tim for their remarkable Fall wedding at the LINE Hotel. Let us take you through the exquisite floral arrangements and personal touches that made their special day truly extraordinary.

The floral palette for Rachel and Tim’s wedding was inspired by the moody colors of fall. Soft shades of purple and gray hues dominated the arrangements, creating a romantic and elegant atmosphere. Rachel’s bouquet was a standout feature of the day, boasting a rich array of colors that seamlessly blended with the overall theme. It consisted of stunning roses, lisianthus, stock, and a variety of unique textures such as astilbe, astrantia, scabiosa, and dusty miller. To complement Rachel’s bouquet, her bridesmaid carried a smaller version with similar textures but toned-down colors. For the groom and his groomsmen, classic boutonnieres featuring roses accented with eucalyptus were the perfect choice.

Both the ceremony and reception took place at the LINE Hotel, and the decor was nothing short of breathtaking. The ceremony focal point was an extraordinary deconstructed arch adorned with lemon leaf, cocculus, and ruscus foliage. White roses and ivory spray roses added an elegant touch to the arch, while clusters of lanterns at the base created a romantic and architectural ambiance.

Inside the ballroom, the natural elements seamlessly blended with the surroundings. Each table featured a gorgeous blonde wood box centerpiece, filled with a lush and textured design. White hydrangeas, white stock, lavender roses, ivory spray roses, white lisianthus, and burgundy ranunculus were meticulously arranged to create a moody pop of color. Dusty miller and eucalyptus foliage added the perfect finishing touches to the arrangements, tying the entire look together.

To make the reception truly unforgettable, the deconstructed arch from the ceremony was repurposed to flank the sweetheart table. This creative touch added a show-stopping element to the space, ensuring that all eyes were on the happy couple. And let’s not forget the charming cake, which featured a small figurine to honor a beloved family member, making their presence felt during this joyous celebration.

We were honored to be a part of Rachel and Tim’s LINE Hotel wedding, and we wish them nothing but the best as they embark on their new life together. Scroll through their gallery below to see how their special day came together at the LINE Hotel.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
