Fathom Gallery DC Wedding

Behind an otherwise unassuming doorway on 14th Street in Washington, DC, lies Fathom Gallery, a hidden oasis in the bustling city. Known for its chic, modern design and intimate rooftop courtyard, the gallery provides a stunning indoor-outdoor space perfect for a unique wedding experience. With its exposed brick walls, sleek modern touches, and cozy rooftop garden, Fathom Gallery combines urban elegance with a touch of nature—an ideal setting for Sapna and Ravi, who wanted a blend of tradition and modernity for their special day.

Sapna’s bridal bouquet was nothing short of showstopping. Featuring vibrant coral peonies, rich red roses, and fuchsia stock, it perfectly reflected the joy and energy of the day. Delicate umbrella fern accents added a soft, natural touch to the bold blooms. The bouquet was a stunning complement to the vibrant hues seen throughout the wedding.

For the ceremony, Sapna and Ravi exchanged vows beneath a custom mandap on the rooftop courtyard. The mandap was crafted with dark wood-stained poles, flowing orange chiffon drapery, and lush garlands of carnations in shades of orange, pink, and red. This striking combination provided a beautiful, colorful backdrop against the clear sky. The couple also wore traditional Indian neck garlands made of alternating orange, pink, and red carnations, symbolizing love and unity. The rooftop setting of the Fathom Gallery was the perfect urban garden for this intimate and cultural celebration.

At the reception, long family-style tables were adorned with elegant centerpieces of hot pink and red roses, orange spray roses, and fuchsia stock. Glass cylinder vases held these blooms, finished with touches of lemon leaf foliage to add freshness and texture. The bold florals paired perfectly with the gallery’s modern design, creating a lively, festive atmosphere for the evening.

Sapna and Ravi’s Fathom Gallery DC wedding was a perfect reflection of their vibrant love story. From the stunning rooftop ceremony to the bold, colorful reception florals, every detail came together to create an unforgettable celebration.

Alexandra & Brian’s wedding at River Farm had that early summer, just-gathered feeling that never tries too hard but still feels completely considered. The palette stayed soft. Think pastel wildflowers with a little movement, nothing too tight or overly styled. Everything felt natural to the setting.⁣
⁣
The ceremony unfolded under the big tree with an arch that felt like it had grown there, loose and garden-inspired in shades of pale pink, light blue, cream, and lavender. It set the tone for the entire day.⁣
⁣
For the reception, long tables were filled all the way down with milk glass, blue mason jars, and pieces of depression glass, each one holding a slightly different mix of flowers. It created that full, abundant look that makes a space feel warm and inviting, while still leaving room for everything the evening needed to hold.⁣
Personal, relaxed, and quietly layered in a way that lets the setting - and the people in it - shine.⁣

There is something especially beautiful about bringing soft garden flowers into a space like St. Francis Hall. The historic stone walls have a certain weight to them, and loose, romantic florals create a lovely contrast that keeps the room from feeling too formal.⁣

For Marina & Kosta’s wedding, the goal was to make the reception feel like a garden had quietly taken over the hall. We designed lush arrangements in peach, cream, and fresh greens that felt natural and abundant on the tables. Against the warm tones of the room and the glow of candlelight, the flowers softened the space and made the entire evening feel relaxed, welcoming, and full of life.⁣
