Berry-Toned Hotel Monaco DC Wedding

Berry-Toned Hotel Monaco DC Wedding

Oh, Leah and Joshua’s wedding was RICH! The berry-toned Hotel Monaco wedding featured incredible, saturated hues of red, fuchsia, navy blue. Swoon!! Leah carried a bouquet of Juliet garden roses, Cafe au Lait dahlia, blush pink mini-calla lilies and light pink ranunculus accented with burgundy dahlia and seeded eucalyptus. Their bridesmaids bouquets amped up the color with roses, dahlia, ranunculus, and callas in saturated berry tones accented with seeded eucalyptus and blue-black viburnum berries.

The ceremony took place at the historic Sixth and I Synagogue. Accenting the chuppah onsite was a garland of seeded eucalyptus foliage accented with wedding flowers, and two posies of stock, dahlia, and roses with peaches, pinks, and burgundies finished with soft greenery.

For the berry-toned Hotel Monaco wedding, guests were greeted to the reception by an elegant gold vase at the escort card table. The vase was topped with a classic, rounded design of antique green hydrangea, light pink stock, burgundy dahlia, roses and spray roses, Cafe au Lait dahlia, and peach Femma. Similar flowers filled a classic gold bowl for the dinner tables, each finished with floating candles in stemmed containers. The garland from the chuppah was repurposed on the sweetheart tables and the posies on the backs of the bride’s and groom’s chairs, finishing the look.

We love this parting shot of the bride and groom from their berry-toned Hotel Monaco wedding.

We are back at Woodend this coming week, and it has us reminiscing about Amanda and Jack’s whimsical, wonderful, William Morris-inspired dream of a wedding with an Art Nouveau twist. The wedding layered bohemian textures, vintage details, woodland creatures and, of course, romantic blooms into a palette that felt both grounded and poetic. Think climbing vines, golden light, and flowers that felt like they had stepped out of an heirloom wallpaper print - in the best way. We’re still swooning. 💫

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.
