Melissa and Matt’s breathtaking Alexandria winter wedding at the enchanting Archer Hotel, formerly the Lorien Hotel. To complement the couple’s classic color palette of rich burgundy and soft blush, we designed floral arrangements full of winter’s best blooms, including amaryllis, ranunculus, anemone, eucalyptus and more.
Melissa’s bridal bouquet was a vision of pure elegance. We carefully crafted a French hand-tied arrangement using a captivating combination of burgundy amaryllis, Black Magic roses, burgundy scabiosa, peach stock, peach ranunculus, Quicksand roses, ivory spray roses, and white roses. To add a touch of whimsy, we incorporated black-eyed white anemone and hints of seeded eucalyptus foliage. The bouquet was beautifully wrapped in ivory double-faced satin ribbon with a crisscross design. The black-clad bridesmaids held stunning bouquets that perfectly complemented the color scheme. Each bouquet featured a delightful blend of Black Magic and Quicksand roses, peach stock, peach ranunculus, burgundy scabiosa, and ivory spray roses. To tie it all together, we added accents of seeded eucalyptus foliage and wrapped them in soft blush ribbon.
Matt’s boutonniere was a simple yet sophisticated creation, highlighting a single burgundy rose with delicate accents of seeded eucalyptus. The other gentlemen in the wedding party donned similar boutonnieres, incorporating a touch of blush rose to complement the overall theme.
The indoor reception exuded elegance with silver cube vases adorning the guest tables. Each vase held a lush and textured design featuring white hydrangea, peach stock, burgundy and blush roses, ivory spray roses, and peach ranunculus. To add a dash of drama, we incorporated black-centered white anemone and accents of seeded eucalyptus foliage, creating a captivating visual feast for the eyes.
