A Classic DC Love Story

A fun couple with an obvious passion for life, Morgan and Brian met in classic DC love story fashion, as our Hungry Lobbyist blogger and FamousDC editor explored the potential for collaboration. Simple, yet striking, florals characterized their gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Woodrow Wilson House.

The wedding included traditional and modern elements, including a Catholic mass at Immaculate Conception Church and an open-air reception at the Woodrow Wilson House in Embassy Row. Simple orchids were centered on the table while twinkle lights lit up the garden as the classic DC love story wedding reception descended into night.

A chuppah like no other. ✨ For Lottie & Kyle’s wedding at the Hotel Monaco, we framed the ceremony with tall, airy designs of eucalyptus, larkspur and delphinium, while delicate strands of white dendrobium orchids floated from the canopy suspended between the rotunda columns. Tamari & Zach embraced the romance of a rainy day ceremony at the historic Tudor Place, saying “I do” beneath clear umbrellas. Then they celebrated in the cozy, intimate setting of the Tabard Inn - with a warm floral palette of corals and oranges, the dreamiest Cafe au Lait dahlias, and proof that a little rain only adds to the magic.

Industrial spaces have a beauty of their own, but the right floral design can take them from warehouse to urban garden. 🌿✨

For Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding, we played with scale—tall magnolia branches to emphasize the height, lush florals to soften the space, and candlelight to add warmth. The result? An urban oasis that felt both grand and intimate.
