Vintage Pink Alexandria Wedding

Vintage Pink Alexandria Wedding

Tricia and Donny were just the sweetest couple, coming to us with visions of petal pinks, silver grays, and vintage chalkboard elements for their wedding. With this in mind, we crafted a scheme replete with silver candelabra, romantic textures and soft and subtle colors for their vintage pink Alexandria Wedding. Tricia’s bouquet was designed using light pink peonies, Mimi Eden spray roses, white lisianthus, pink ranunculus, and light pink astilbe accented with dusty miller foliage – the spray roses providing a pop of pink against the muted colors.

The bridesmaids’ each carried lush bouquets similar to the bridal but simpler. Their bouquets used light pink Sweet Eskimo roses, Mimi Eden spray roses, pink ranunculus, white lisianthus, and light pink astilbe finished with the same soft gray dusty miller.

The ceremony took place in The Alexandrian Hotel’s wonderful, enclosed courtyard, with strings of lights overhead. Two elegant silver candelabra flanked Tricia and Donny as they said their vows. Two rounded designs of hydrangea, stock, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, and astilbe in shades of pink and white accented with dusty miller and jasmine vine perched amidst the candelabra’s arms.

The reception featured a shabby chic elegance. Silver candelabra were centered on half the tables, dramatic lengths of crystal garland draping from each arm. Tall taper candles provided a hint of candlelight. For the low designs, a silver mercury glass bowl held pink and white hydrangea, stock, roses, spray roses, tulips, ranunculus and astilbe, once again finished with dusty miller. The cake was truly amazing, and finished with open pale pink blooms.

Industrial spaces have a beauty of their own, but the right floral design can take them from warehouse to urban garden. 🌿✨

For Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding, we played with scale—tall magnolia branches to emphasize the height, lush florals to soften the space, and candlelight to add warmth. The result? An urban oasis that felt both grand and intimate.

1️⃣Go Big with Greenery – Tall magnolia branches brought height and movement to Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding

2️⃣ Mix Textures – Lush, low floral arrangements softened the industrial edges while keeping the space dynamic

3️⃣ Layer Candlelight – Warm glows + metal details = a romantic urban oasis

4️⃣ Frame Key Spaces – A floral garland on the head table grounded the design and added intimacy. Trees flanking the table took it to the next level

5️⃣ Contrast is Key – Pairing the raw, industrial elements with soft florals and organic details created the perfect balance

Not all green and white floral palettes are created equal. This one here will NEVER go out of style and is truly as timeless as they come! Magnolia, eucalyptus, rosemary, and delicate touches of white… Add velvet linens and gold touches, and we’re smitten... 😍
