Vibrant Rose Hill Manor Wedding

If it’s one thing we love, it’s a wedding bursting with color! In the case for Arielle and Jay’s vibrant Rose Hill Manor wedding, the design direction was classic while also embracing a modern aesthetic, but most of all COLORFUL. Arielle wanted a super lush floral palette that was more flower focused. Arielle’s bouquet embraced a more muted palette – soft pinks and peaches with the best of summer’s Cafe au Lait dahlias and garden roses.

This wasn’t the first Petal’s Edge wedding at Rose Hill Manor, but it was our first opportunity to produce a wedding ceremony inside. At the end of the aisle, we designed a gorgeous floral display flanking the French doors to the courtyard atop two vignettes of pedestals.

If ever there was a wedding that created wow, this vibrant Rose Hill Manor wedding reception accomplished this feat with lots of saturated color. Taking advantage of the height in the central portion of the ballroom, gold harlow stands held lush designs in shades of hot pink and orange aloft. Finishing the design, glass orbs were suspended from the stands, each with a touch of candlelight.

We were so honored to help celebrate the launch of Vol. 11 of The Scout Guide Alexandria and toast the exciting next chapter under new owner Kerry Delaney at the beautiful Jula’s on the Potomac.
We leaned all the way into the St. Barth’s theme, with a cascading floral piece in the entry to set the tone as guests arrived. A daisy-filled installation over the bar brought that effortless island charm. Baskets overflowing with lemons and olive foliage added a French Caribbean warmth throughout the space, and touches of yellow kept everything feeling sun-drenched and joyful.

We’re so proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Supporting local means investing in the makers, doers, and dreamers who make Alexandria vibrant — and The Scout Guide does just that, beautifully.

Still riding high from designing the first moment guests experienced at the Vol. 11 The Scout Guide launch party. The theme pulled from St. Bart’s energy, so of course yellow had to lead the conversation. Butter yellow, citrus tones, sun-soaked florals… this palette is absolutely having a moment right now. Creating this outdoor floral wall felt like building a little burst of summer before anyone even stepped inside, and honestly, the whole night was just so fab. ☀️💛

One of the best parts of the job is getting to know the families behind the weddings and events we design for, especially the moms. Over the years, we’ve met so many incredible women who embody strength, warmth, generosity, and heart in ways both big and small.⁣
⁣
And one of the sweetest parts of growing our retail arm, the Shop at Petal’s Edge, has been watching some of our couples grow their own families. Getting to share in those milestones too, from Valentine`s Day to Mother’s Day flowers, has given us great joy.⁣

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers and mother figures we’ve had the privilege of celebrating along the way.
