The Showroom DC Wedding

The Showroom DC Wedding

The Showroom is one of Washington DC’s newest event venues. Clean white walls, brushed concrete floors, exposed ductwork and more offers clients a blank canvas against which to create a stunning event. For Belle and Karl’s wedding, lush greenery was everywhere. Their organic chic Showroom wedding couldn’t have been more breathtaking in effect! Belle’s bridal bouquet was an elegant cascading design that included a range of mixed greens, including seeded eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, parvifolia, dusty miller and camelia foliage, delicately accented with white ranunculus and Queen Anne’s lace. For Belle’s beautiful bridesmaids, we created bouquets similar to, but more tailored than, Belle’s bouquet. The result was equal parts soft and stunning!

Belle’s and Karl’s nuptials at St. Stephen Martyr also featured two sweet flower girls, who wore delicate flower crowns of baby’s breath.

The reception was a gorgeous mix of an organic and industrial chic aesthetic, which we achieved with two separate but complementary centerpiece designs. For some of the wood farm tables, we designed elegant garlands of seeded and silver dollar eucalpytus accented with Italian ruscus. The rest of the farm tables were adorned with loose, organic designs of southern smilax suspended above the table, which created a dramatic ceiling treatment in the space. One of our favorite details, though, had to be Belle’s and Karl’s chairs at their reception, which we decorated with four-foot lengths of seeded eucalyptus and ruscus for the new Mr. and Mrs!

Many thanks to Belle and Karl for allowing us to help create such an organic chic wedding for you. Best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!

We are back at Woodend this coming week, and it has us reminiscing about Amanda and Jack’s whimsical, wonderful, William Morris-inspired dream of a wedding with an Art Nouveau twist. The wedding layered bohemian textures, vintage details, woodland creatures and, of course, romantic blooms into a palette that felt both grounded and poetic. Think climbing vines, golden light, and flowers that felt like they had stepped out of an heirloom wallpaper print - in the best way. We’re still swooning. 💫

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.
