Nicole and Sriram were married in Lorton, Virginia, just outside Washington DC, with a colorful River View at Occoquan wedding. The fete featured some of the most creative and stylish floral concepts we can remember! Rich, sophisticated jewel tones were everywhere at this stunning celebration, starting with the personal flowers we created for the happy couple. Nicole’s elegant, French hand-tied bouquet included hot pink mini calla lilies, burgundy dahlia, purple ranunculus, safari sunset protea, green cymbidium orchids, and red-rimmed lavender Gray Night roses. Meanwhile, Sriram wore a gorgeous boutonniere of a green cymbidium orchid accented with artful loops of bear grass, and the remaining boutonnieres used hot pink mini calla lilies.
We always love creating ceremony decor, but especially when it’s a unique celebration of culture and color! For Nicole and Sriram, we lined the aisle with wrought iron shepherd hooks, which anchored small glass vases filled with stock, roses, dendrobium orchids, and hypericum berries in a palette of hot pink, purple and green. We also swagged the entire length of the aisle with ribbon garlands in purple, fuschia, chartreuse and gold. We also provided flower petals in shades of hot pink, lavender and orange with which the couple were showered.
Nicole’s and Sriram’s colorful River View at Occoquan wedding reception florals were also unique and special. We created three complementary centerpiece styles for their guest tables, incorporating a mix of gold geometric terrariums and gold cube vases, and lush designs of the same fuschia, purple, green, hot pink,. purple, and burgundy blooms featured elsewhere in the wedding. The couple’s small ceremony vase arrangements also served double-duty as head table decor! Everyone always looks forward to the cake – and for Nicole’s and Sriram’s confection, we created a stunning, saturated crown of colorful flowers, with additional blooms tucked among the tiers.
We loved bringing so much color to the wedding of Nicole and Sriram, and we wish them a life as happy and rich as their wedding celebration! Congratulations!
