This year, Pantone broke with their long-standing tradition by selecting not one, but two colors as their annual “Color of the Year.” What colors, do you ask? Why Rose Quartz and Serenity. The colors were said to bring a gentle yet captivating presence which struck the perfect balance between a warm, embracing rose tone and a cool, tranquil blue. We had the pleasure of designing the floral arrangements for a wedding at Woodmont Country Club showcasing this very enchanting color scheme.
It’s not often that there colors are paired for a wedding. The duo of pastels risks feeling a little… shall we say it? Baby shower-ish? But imagine stepping into a wedding where love was painted in the delicate hues of rose quartz and serenity. The club’s ambiance was breathtaking and captured the essence of romance and calm. From the moment guests entered the elegant venue, they were embraced by soft pastels and ethereal beauty.
At Woodmont Country Club, we crafted stunning floral arrangements that embraced the Pantone Colors of the Year. Delicate pale pink blooms mingled seamlessly with touches of pale blue, and just like Pantone indicated, brought an aura of tranquility and innocence. The bridal bouquet featured a charming blend of soft and romantic pinks, peaches and ivories with accents of dusty blue, featuring pale pink and peach dahlia, garden roses, and stock accented with jasmine vine, dusty miller, and silver-blue echevaria.
The reception hall featured two captivating centerpieces styles that blended the qualities of these colors. Half the tables were graced with low arrangements of white hydrangea, peach and pink dahlia, pink lisianthus, light pink astilbe, light blue tweedia, and dusty miller accented with jasmine vine, adding a touch of whimsy to the celebration. Tall designs in silver trumpet vases held a textured design of tall, curly willow branches, light pink astilbe, light pink larkspur, peach stock, peachy pink lisianthus, blue thistle, light blue delphinium, and loose touches of Queen Anne’s lace. Votives hung from the branches, adding a romantic, candlelit glow. The gentle hues beautifully complemented the venue’s ambiance.
Woodmont Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for this magical occasion. With its lush green surroundings and elegant architecture, the venue offered a picturesque setting that enhanced the beauty of the color palette. Every corner exuded a sense of refined charm and sophistication. Even the ceremony was graced with these hues. The chuppah, constructed of four corner poles covered with sleeves of natural white fabric, the canopy of the same material. The front valence of the chuppah will be adorned with a swagging element for an elegant finish to the canopy. All of the fabric panels puddled at the floor for a romantic and timeless feel. Lush posies of white hydrangea, ivory and pale pink roses, peach lisianthus, light blue delphinium, Queen Anne’s lace and draping ivy accented the top front corners of the chuppah.
As guests reveled in the joyous celebration, they couldn’t help but be love the smooth integration of the Pantone Color of the Year. Rose Quartz and Serenity brought a touch of romance and tranquility, setting the stage for an unforgettable day filled with love and happiness.
