Romantic Hotel Monaco Wedding

Tyler and Michael’s wedding at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC was nothing short of a floral dream! Held in the breathtaking Paris Ballroom, their ceremony was set within the iconic central rotunda, which provided the perfect backdrop for their modern yet romantic celebration.

Located in the heart of Washington, DC, the Hotel Monaco is known for its blend of historic architecture and modern luxury. A National Historic Landmark, the neoclassical building was originally constructed in 1839 as the General Post Office building. It was the first all-marble building in Washington DC. The venue’s Paris Ballroom, with its soaring ceilings and elegant rotunda, offered a timeless backdrop for Tyler and Michael’s nuptials.

The grooms both wore petite boutonnieres made of delicate pink spray roses—a soft, subtle touch that added just the right amount of color to their classic wedding day attire. For their vows, a lush floral semi-circle framed the couple, creating a romantic, garden-like atmosphere in the grand space. The semi-circle design featured white larkspur, white lisianthus, Quicksand and Sweet Eskimo roses, ivory spray roses, and white stock finished with lemon leaf and Italian ruscus foliage that brought freshness and natural beauty to the ceremony. The gentle curve of the floral ring created a perfect focal point for this heartfelt moment.

The reception florals carried over this theme of elegance and romance, with classic clear compotes adorning each table. Each centerpiece featured white hydrangea, white stock, White O’Hara garden roses, Quicksand roses, light pink spray roses, light pink astilbe, and touches of chocolate lace flower for a vintage touch. Sage green accents of silver dollar eucalyptus added a pop of texture to the otherwise classic designs, elevating the tablescapes to modern sophistication.

One of the best features of this wedding design was the way the florals transitioned seamlessly from ceremony to reception. The stunning floral semi-circle from the ceremony was repurposed in front of the sweetheart table, continuing the romantic feel while adding a lush and luxurious touch to the reception space.

Tyler and Michael’s Hotel Monaco wedding was a beautiful combination of classic romance and modern design, and the florals made their day one to remember.

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
