The fun and quirky Torpedo Factory was the setting for Rebecca’s and Jason’s modern, elegant wedding celebration – and we loved designing their flowers!
Rebecca’s colorful, one-of-a-kind bridal bouquet showcased a palette of white, emerald green, and deep plum hues with touches of pale pink. Featured blooms included white roses, white anemone, plum mini-calla lilies and scabiosa and accented with lush nagi foliage. For her bridesmaids, we arranged roses, anemone, ranunculus and mini calla lilies in neutral white hues, and finished the look with nagi foliage and emerald green satin ribbon wrapped around the stems.
Rebecca and Jason’s Torpedo Factory wedding ceremony took place under a beautiful, modern chuppah constructed of four gold-painted poles supporting a canopy of natural white silk dupioni. Two slightly asymmetrical corner sprays of greenery accented the top of the chuppah, while warm candlelight shone from two collections of glass-enclosed pillar candles at the base.
As guests approached the escort table to find their seats, they were welcomed by an elegant gold harlow stand, topped with a lush and expressive design of eucalyptus and ruscus foliage. Glass orbs with candles were suspended from the arrangement for an added glow.
Low, lush centerpieces of white hydrangea, plum smokebush foliage, white roses, plum and pale pink ranunculus, white anemone, and and plum calla lilies and scabiosa, set in gold architect pots, adorned the tables. The effect was textured, contemporary, and perfect for the couple’s celebration. A sweet cascade of wedding flowers accented Rebecca’s and Jason’s beautiful cake, and their cake topper was just so perfectly them!
We had a great time designing Rebecca’s and Jason’s wedding flowers right here in our own town of Alexandria, and wish them a wonderful life together!
