Rainy Day Alexandria Wedding

Meghan and Paul’s wedding was a true delight of pale pastels and softs greens replete with succulents! The weather couldn’t put a damper on this rainy day Alexandria wedding couple’s spirits!

The couple began the day with a traditional ceremony at Blessed Sacrament Church in Alexandria, VA. What was to follow was an intimate reception at the Alexandria Athenaeum, a sun-soaked gallery and home to the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association. Guests were greeted with petite designs in muted pastels, each accented with a succulent, a recurring elements in the day’s floral designs.

For the reception, we went all in with tall centerpieces featuring hanging orbs, low lush designs, and the soft flicker of candles tucked into gold geometric terrariums. Soft, glowing, and full of movement—just the kind of floral story we love telling from aisle to afterparty.⁣

A night of mystery and masquerade — and the perfect way to fête the 10th anniversary of The Scout Guide Alexandria and the launch of Vol. 10! ✨

We loved adding our signature touch of floral drama to this year’s launch party at the Hotel Heron. From a moody and dramatic entrance piece to a flower-filled car, sculptural arrangements on cocktail tables and elevated bar arrangements casting feathered shadows and moody textures, this event let us play in a world of whimsy and wonder.

We’re proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Tropical romance in the heart of DC? Yes, please. 🌴✨ Anela & Seamus brought all the island vibes to their wedding at District Winery, and we loved creating something so personal and vibrant. From palms, monstera, and ferns to cascading orchids, the floral design felt fresh and unexpected. We completed the look by pulling in rattan lanterns, sourcing peacock chairs for the sweetheart table, and penning custom calligraphy table numbers on monstera leaves for the table numbers. Lush, joyful, and a look that was totally them.⁣
