Nationals Park isn’t just a backdrop for baseball. It’s one of Washington, DC’s most dynamic venues for large-scale celebrations, philanthropic gatherings, and elevated private events. While we have provided flowers for weddings at Nat’s Park in the past, over the past year, we has had the privilege of bringing our floral designs to three very different Nationals Park events, each highlighting how versatile and surprisingly elegant the venue can be.
The settings varied. The guest lists shifted. The goals were entirely different. What remained constant was the need for design that felt intentional in a space that’s anything but ordinary.
Chefs for Stadiums
The first event brought the energy of a national culinary gathering into the stadium. Chefs for Stadiums filled Nationals Park with chefs and industry leaders from across the country, creating an atmosphere that was lively and expansive without feeling overwhelming.
Tables lined the field with crisp white linens, and we introduced terra cotta pots filled with fresh herbs, a subtle nod to the culinary focus of the evening. The result felt grounded, unfussy, and perfectly in step with the purpose of the event.

Congressional Baseball Game
Later in the season, the stadium took on a very different tone for the Congressional Baseball Game, an event deeply woven into Washington’s civic culture.
Here, we leaned into the baseball theme. Glass globe vases were filled with baseballs and topped with white hydrangea and magnolia. The rich brown backs of the magnolia leaves subtly echoed the feel of a well-worn leather baseball glove, a detail that felt especially fitting in this iconic setting.

Dinner in the Clubhouse
The most intimate of the three Nationals Park events was a private dinner held inside the clubhouse, sponsored by Clase Azul. This behind-the-scenes space offered a rare opportunity to create an elevated dining experience within a setting few guests ever see.
For this dinner, we designed modern, minimal centerpieces featuring red anthurium, red amaranth, and red orchids. The bold palette felt sculptural and intentional, transforming the clubhouse into a space that felt dramatic, immersive, and distinctly removed from game day.
Together, these three Nationals Park events reflect the remarkable range of the venue. From expansive culinary gatherings to intimate private dinners, Nationals Park continues to surprise, and we’re honored to help bring these moments to life.
