National Museum of Women in the Arts wedding

Jennifer and Doug’s wedding was like a study in the Color Wheel! Using shades of blue with complementary oranges to pop, this summer National Museum of Women in the Arts wedding was one of our recent favorites. Jennifer kept her bouquet romantic and subdued in soft ivories, peaches, grays and pale blues. Light blue delphinium, peach Juliet garden roses, and blue-gray succulents looked romantic against the ivory mini-calla lilies and spray roses. The wedding party donned bolder hues with rich orange dahlia, burnt orange mokara orchids, peach stock, and orange spray roses, paired with expressive blue thistle, light blue delphinium, and finished with dusty miller foliage.

The ceremony took place under the crystal chandeliers of the Great Hall and Mezzanine of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and kept the palette soft with the colors and flowers of Jennifer’s bouquet. The romantic chuppah fabric was cinched with elongated posies. The summer National Museum of Women in the Arts wedding was perfectly complemented by the soft tones of the ceremony scheme.

The reception packed a punch with dramatic blues and oranges with three different centerpiece designs. One centerpiece was a monochromatic design creating an ombre effect from emanating from the center out. In the middle, a vase of dramatic orange dahlia was placed, then two of peach roses, and the outer most vases held white hydrangea. Long stems of blue delphinium, gladiola, calla lilies, white dendrobium orchids and burnt orange mokara orchids made dramatic centerpieces, and event planner Sara Muchnick Events found incredible table settings to finish the festive tablescapes, a finishing touch to the summer National Museum of Women in the Arts wedding,

Industrial spaces have a beauty of their own, but the right floral design can take them from warehouse to urban garden. 🌿✨

For Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding, we played with scale—tall magnolia branches to emphasize the height, lush florals to soften the space, and candlelight to add warmth. The result? An urban oasis that felt both grand and intimate.

1️⃣Go Big with Greenery – Tall magnolia branches brought height and movement to Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding

2️⃣ Mix Textures – Lush, low floral arrangements softened the industrial edges while keeping the space dynamic

3️⃣ Layer Candlelight – Warm glows + metal details = a romantic urban oasis

4️⃣ Frame Key Spaces – A floral garland on the head table grounded the design and added intimacy. Trees flanking the table took it to the next level

5️⃣ Contrast is Key – Pairing the raw, industrial elements with soft florals and organic details created the perfect balance

Not all green and white floral palettes are created equal. This one here will NEVER go out of style and is truly as timeless as they come! Magnolia, eucalyptus, rosemary, and delicate touches of white… Add velvet linens and gold touches, and we’re smitten... 😍
