Molly and Eric’s modern purple Omni Shoreham wedding, with ceremony and reception both at the property in Washington, DC, was a sophisticated and elegant celebration in tones of purple and white!
The beautiful bride carried a stunning bouquet in her chosen palette of white, lavender, and purple, with blooms that included ivory Vendela roses, lavender Ocean Song roses, ivory spray roses, purple lisianthus, and purple stock. A gorgeous locket with a picture of Molly’s mom was tucked into her bouquet for an incredibly sweet, sentimental touch. For Molly’s bridesmaids, we created simpler bouquets of white and ivory roses. Meanwhile, the handsome groom wore a simply perfect boutonniere of purple lisianthus accented with bear grass, while other boutonnieres featured a white rose with bear grass.
A major highlight of Molly’s and Eric’s heartfelt ceremony was the breathtaking chuppah under which they exchanged their vows! The chuppah for the modern purple Omni Shoreham wedding consisted of four gold-painted poles that supported a canopy of natural white silk dupioni, the chuppah was adorned with a dramatic spray of white hydrangea, ivory and lavender roses, ivory spray roses, purple stock, and seeded eucalyptus foliage.
For Molly’s and Eric’s modern purple Omni Shoreham wedding reception, we created a number of special arrangements. In addition to a striking display on the placecard table, we also created a sweet, textured design consisting of white hydrangea, sunflowers, lavender roses, purple stock, purple lisianthus, and ivory spray roses for the guestbook table. Designing gorgeous centerpieces is one of our favorite parts of designing weddings, and for Molly and Eric’s reception, our arrangements were a perfect mix of modern and classic. We filled gold ceramic square vases with white hydrangea, purple stock, lavender roses, ivory spray roses, white larkspur, and purple lisianthus, with touches of seeded eucalyptus. Working with Molly and Eric (and their exquisite taste!) was a dream, and we congratulate them both on their marriage!
