Modern District Winery Wedding

While warm, intimate and absolutely stunning, Terri and Brandon’s modern wedding District Winery embraced clean lines and modern design for a feel that was contemporary and upbeat. The rich florals evoked some of the most delicious wine varietals! For Terri’s bridal bouquet, elegant and textured was our goal. A mix of blooms including blush Juliet garden roses, peach roses and stock, burgundy mini calla lilies, and chocolate cosmos were gathered together for an impact that was at once romantic and lush. The bridesmaids carried complementary bouquets in the same soft peach hues, hand-tied with burgundy satin ribbon. Brandon’s groomsmen wore sophisticated boutonnieres consisting of peach spray roses, while the groom’s boutonniere featured a burgundy mini calla lily accented with artful loops of bear grass.

Modern Ceremony Style

The couple’s ceremony setup was especially striking, with two modern altar arrangements set on pedestals. Birch logs lined the interior of two glass cylinder vases, topped them with a lush design of white hydrangea, peach stock and roses, burgundy spray roses, and burgundy scabiosa. Asymmetrical designs of white phalaenopsis orchids cascaded from the lush bank of flowers. The aisle was punctuated by black lanterns, along with a scattering of peach rose petals to demarcate the bride’s path.

Intimate Reception

When it was time for guests to celebrate at the couple’s modern District Winery wedding reception, they were treated to the visual of centerpieces easily as delicious-looking as the catering! Glass rectangle vases were filled with a mix of white hydrangea as well as peach stock, garden roses and spray roses, finished with touches of burgundy mini calla lilies and chocolate cosmos. It was the perfect ambience for Terri and Brandon’s wedding festivities!

What goes up, must come down. Our team spent a solid week of getting up on ladders, hanging wreaths, fluffing garland, and placing oversized bows to get nine local restaurants holiday ready… and now it ends. Every garland gets boxed and labeled. Every ornament tucked back in its place and each wreath finding a new home - until next year. It seems almost sad to put away the holiday decor, but ready for the next bit of sparkle & shine!
