A fairytale of a wedding unfolded amidst the timeless elegance of the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. This enchanting journey through the unforgettable moments of Anam and Patrick’s special day is not to be missed.
Known for its grandeur and historic charm, the Mayflower Hotel served as the perfect backdrop for Anam and Patrick’s dreamy celebration. The iconic venue exudes a sense of timeless sophistication and provided us with the ideal canvas in which to bring our couple’s vision to life.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of blush, ivory, gold, and green, we created a floral palette that exuded romance and elegance – garden roses, roses, lisianthus, delicate sprays of jasmine vine. Dramatic urns filled with hydrangea, stock, roses and spray roses created a stunning backdrop for the wedding ceremony, greeting guests at the entrance to the aisle and atop the stage where Anam and Patrick exchanged their vows. With elegant crystal chandeliers through the room, the atmosphere was nothing short of luxurious and magical. With the exquisite decor as our witness, their love story unfolded against a backdrop of pure enchantment.
Ever detail was attended to, from delicate smilax and rose along welcome signs and cocktail shelves to a napkin detail on each place setting. The ballroom was transformed into a haven of enchantment, with crystal candelabra graced with blush taper candles casting a warm, ethereal glow. The combination of tall and low floral centerpieces added depth and dimension to the space. Taper candles nested in a bed of greenery created softness within the atmosphere of modern glassware and stands. The intoxicating scent of fresh blooms wafted through the air, while the soft glow of candlelight enveloped us.
Our romantic ballroom wedding at the Mayflower Hotel DC was a dream come true, a celebration of love and togetherness that will be etched in memory forever. From the breathtaking decor to the overwhelming feeling of love in the air, every element came together seamlessly to create a night to cherish for a lifetime.
