What happens when you take an urban winery and infuse a bit of tropical flair? You get a truly unique wedding! And even more so, the Hawaii-inspired wedding scheme was very personal for Anela and Seamus, as the bride’s family hails from our 50th state. With the couple’s tropical vision, we helped to design this romantic wedding that transported guests to a different locale.
When Anela and Seamus came to us with their Hawaii-inspired wedding vision, we knew this was going to be a fun one to design! The first step was to create the perfect tropical palette while introducing some fun design elements. We designed a floral palette that captured the overall vision of their wedding. The effect of tropical foliage accented with white and yellow blooms was positively captivating! Pin cushion protea, anthurium, dendrobium, cymbidium and oncidium orchids, and of course plenty of tropical foliage such as monstera, philodendron, palm brought the island feel.
With details such as a luxe floral treatment on the welcome sign and a lush tropical archway, we incorporated unique elements to capture the Hawaii-inspired wedding vision. In addition to garland across the sweetheart table, we suspended a collection of rattan lanterns with flowers and greenery dripping from them above the table as well as on the opposite floor corner. We knew we had to do something fun for the table numbers, so we inscribed baby monstera leaves with the table numbers. The guest tables were set with elegant garlands along the length. With the perfectly tropical feel, it was as if we had transplanted the guests to Hawaii for the festivities.
Thank you Anela and Seamus for trusting us with your vision!
