Four Seasons DC Wedding

Four Seasons DC Wedding

A design of white dendrobium orchids lends chuppahs movement and texture.

Betsy and Julian were married on the most perfect early November day. Not too cold and not too hot with a blue sky day that you only dream of. Their glamorous Four Seasons DC wedding was classic and effortlessly beautiful, starting with Betsy’s stunning gown. We can’t say what we love more – the simple modern flourish of a sleek and streamlined white mini-calla lily bouquet… or the charming and modern bow on the back of the dress. It all gives us major heart eyes! Each of the attendants wore elegant navy blue dresses accented with classic bouquets of white roses and stock, navy privet berries and lemon leaf foliage.

A white petal strewn aisle created a romantic pathway for the ceremony. Blush pink dendrobium orchids formed the basis of the striking chuppah that served as the ceremony’s focal point. Bamboo poles overlaid with curly willow branches held hundreds of blush pink dendrobium orchids, while the couple’s personal tallit created a canopy overhead.

The glamorous Four Seasons DC wedding reception was full of romance with floating and pillar candles, dramatic uplighting and fluffy white florals. Tables alternated between tall, elevated designs of white hydrangea, roses, orchids and stock atop clear pilsner vases and just a hint of greenery. The balance of the tables featured silver Revere bowls filled with fluffy white blooms and strategically placed floating candles. And finally, the head table was understated but no less romantic, a runner of candles interspersed with the bouquets proceeding along the length of the table.

The future is bright with these two! We are delighted to have assisted with bringing their vision to life.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
