We had the distinct pleasure of curating a floral masterpiece for Katherine and Ben’s recent wedding at the enchanting Fathom Gallery in Washington DC. Located on 14th Street in the heart of Logan Circle, Fathom Gallery offers a chic and elegant gallery space with large windows, a rustic brick wall, polished hardwood floors and distressed sliding barn doors. It is a contemporary setting with historic charm – complete with a rooftop garden!
This celebration was a true ode to the beauty of fall, with each bloom meticulously selected to evoke a sense of timeless elegance. Katherine’s bouquet was a testament to the bride’s exquisite fashion-forward taste. A loose and airy French hand-tied creation, it featured Keira, Coral Double Expression and Coffee Break roses and ranunculus shades of pink, blush, terra cotta, and burgundy – each bloom dancing together in perfect harmony. Safari sunset protea and rose pink lisianthus added depth to the breathtaking bouquet, while blush buttery ranunculus and delicate jasmine vine foliage provided the finishing touches. Bridesmaids held equally enchanting French hand-tied bouquets. Coffee Break and Coral Double Expression roses took center stage, complemented by safari sunset protea and light pink lisianthus. Accents of pale pink scabiosa and blush buttery ranunculus added a touch of whimsy.
To create a focal point for the ceremony, we embraced an organic design approach. Smilax foliage framed and accented the central window in the main room, softening the architectural lines and exposed brick with a romantic touch. Blush, pink, terra cotta, and burgundy blooms intertwined seamlessly, creating an ethereal backdrop for the couple’s vows.
The outdoor rooftop garden is a delight at Fathom Gallery As a final touch, petite bud vases graced each cocktail table, showcasing delicate blossoms that echoed the palette of the day.
It was an honor to flower Katherine and Ben’s special day. We wish you many days of happiness ahead of you!
