Fall Wedding at 2941 Restaurant

Tucked away in what otherwise looks to the untrained eye like yet another an office park in northern Virginia is 2941 Restaurant. Lush landscaping, koi ponds, waterfalls, and a lakeside view make stunning options for your unforgettable day – like this unforgettable fall wedding at 2941. Complete with natural views and contemporary decor, it is a hot spot for weddings.

Creating the magical event our couples have been preparing for is a highlight of our work at Petal’s Edge. We love creating beautiful bouquets, unique decor elements, beautiful arches, and stunning rooms – no matter how big or small the wedding. Mariama and Ted had all these and more, so our excitement was palpable!

While embracing the texture and moody hues of fall, Mariama and Ted favored fresh and contemporary touches for their fall wedding at 2941 Restaurant. Classic fall blooms like dahlia, astilbe, and amaranthus were mixed with textures like magnolia, olive leaf, eucalyptus and more.

Mariama’s bouquet was filled with rich garden roses, dahlia, mini-calla lilies and astilbe in rich reds accented with blush toned spray roses and finished with olive leaf and eucalyptus. Burgundy amaranthus created a natural cascade for the bouquet. For a twist on traditional, the bridesmaids carried elegant hoops adorned with blush and ivory astilbe, spray roses, and blushing bride protea accented with eucalyptus. The men’s boutonnieres were designed using mini-calla lilies for a clean-lined, modern touch.

As guests arrived for this fall wedding at 2941, guests were greeted with lush, fall designs atop pedestals. The whole wedding was filled with the most gorgeous fall textures and colors. The ceremony was set with a deconstructed arch of stunning magnolia foliage accented with a mix of burgundy and blush dahlias, roses and spray roses.

The palette for the reception continued the look, with contemporary crystal candlesticks topped with lush designs of roses, dahlia, magnolia and more, the perfect color scheme for a fall wedding at 2941. Burgundy linens brought an untold warmth to the room.

Alexandra & Brian’s wedding at River Farm had that early summer, just-gathered feeling that never tries too hard but still feels completely considered. The palette stayed soft. Think pastel wildflowers with a little movement, nothing too tight or overly styled. Everything felt natural to the setting.⁣

The ceremony unfolded under the big tree with an arch that felt like it had grown there, loose and garden-inspired in shades of pale pink, light blue, cream, and lavender. It set the tone for the entire day.⁣

For the reception, long tables were filled all the way down with milk glass, blue mason jars, and pieces of depression glass, each one holding a slightly different mix of flowers. It created that full, abundant look that makes a space feel warm and inviting, while still leaving room for everything the evening needed to hold.⁣
Personal, relaxed, and quietly layered in a way that lets the setting - and the people in it - shine.⁣

There is something especially beautiful about bringing soft garden flowers into a space like St. Francis Hall. The historic stone walls have a certain weight to them, and loose, romantic florals create a lovely contrast that keeps the room from feeling too formal.⁣

For Marina & Kosta’s wedding, the goal was to make the reception feel like a garden had quietly taken over the hall. We designed lush arrangements in peach, cream, and fresh greens that felt natural and abundant on the tables. Against the warm tones of the room and the glow of candlelight, the flowers softened the space and made the entire evening feel relaxed, welcoming, and full of life.⁣
