Want to see the perfect autumn wedding palette of burgundy, champagne and cream with touches of sage green for a muted fall feel? Look no further than Kari and Brian’s delightful fall Hotel Monaco wedding in DC. Kari’s bridal bouquet featured a range of burgundy tones expressed by dahlia, roses, spray roses, and orchids accented with pops of champagne roses, cream stock and lisianthus, and sage silver dollar eucalyptus foliage. The maid of honor and junior bridesmaid carried similar bouquets to the bride. The groom wore a burgundy rose boutonniere accented with silver dollar eucalyptus. The remaining men sported champagne roses with silver dollar eucalyptus.
Guests were greeted at the site by a hand blown, flared rim glass vase filled with a dramatic, spraying arrangement – the perfect fall Hotel Monaco wedding statement piece. The design featured tall curly willow branches, white open cut calla lilies, cream stock, burgundy gladiola and snapdragons, and finished with red mokara and James Storei orchids and silver dollar eucalyptus. The tables alternated between tall and low table arrangements, taking advantage of the unique vaulted ceilings in the room. (The tall centerpiece designs flanked the aisle during the ceremony.) The tall designs featured a lush, tailored mix of hydrangea, stock, lisianthus, roses and spray roses in shades of burgundy and cream finished with silver dollar eucalyptus. The low wedding centerpieces featured a similar mix of flowers. A festive design of wedding flowers crowned the top of the cake with a demo-cascade of flowers accenting the tiers.
