Classic Toolbox Studio Wedding

Classic Toolbox Studio Wedding

Today, we’re looking back at a breathtaking wedding that perfectly blended rustic elegance with pure luxury and continues to inspire. Kasia and Josh were married at Toolbox Studio in Washington, DC – a unique venue for a uniquely gorgeous celebration!

Kasia’s bouquet was a study in tonal opulence, with a mix of textural white flowers and rich greenery that was the ideal complement to the couple’s neutral color palette throughout their wedding. We used green-centered white anemone, white tulips, green-white parrot tulips, white ranunculus, white lilac, and white sweet pea, accented with lily of the valley and camelia foliage. Josh’s boutonniere also featured white ranunculus with camelia. The happy couple’s suspended chuppah was draped with lush banks of mix camelia, seeded eucalyptus, ivy and jasmine vine, studded with tiny white flowers. The romantically cascading greenery gave the illusion of structural supports, for a magical effect. For Kasia’s and Josh’s reception, our “industrial chic” tablescapes blended beautifully with the atmosphere at The Toolbox. Gold mercury glass bowls were filled with lush designs of white hydrangea, white stock, white tulips, white sweet pea, and white lisianthus, accented with camelia and seeded eucalyptus.

This is the kind of emotion we want all our clients and their guests to feel when they see their beautiful wedding vision brought to life! Congratulations to Kasia and Josh – we hope you are loving married life so far, and that it gets better and better as the years go by!

We are back at Woodend this coming week, and it has us reminiscing about Amanda and Jack’s whimsical, wonderful, William Morris-inspired dream of a wedding with an Art Nouveau twist. The wedding layered bohemian textures, vintage details, woodland creatures and, of course, romantic blooms into a palette that felt both grounded and poetic. Think climbing vines, golden light, and flowers that felt like they had stepped out of an heirloom wallpaper print - in the best way. We’re still swooning. 💫

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.
