One of the unique opportunities Covid has given us with has been the chance to really get to know some of our clients. When originally we met with Erin and Joel, we quite randomly discovered in the course of our conversation that we had lived in the same house in Arlington! That in and of itself presented something we clicked over. During the course of the pandemic, though, we’ve had the chance to know this lovely couple as they graciously supported many of our efforts to explore new revenue streams to get us through the rough spots of the pandemic. We provided flowers for their elopement last year, and then for the big celebration and vow renewal this past summer!
While initially Erin and Joel imagined a colorful, wildflower scheme, which was the palette for their elopement, when it came to the big event, their vision a year later shifted to a beautiful scheme of whites, blues and golds – really perfect design for a classic summer wedding at St. Francis Hall.
Erin and Joel renewed their vows atop the stage at the Hall, with guests seated at their tables. Tables were dressed in classic white linens, while the flowers alternated between two designs. For half of the tables, a gold harlow stand held flowers in whites and blues aloft, ringed at the base with petite glass bud vases with collections of white and blue flowers. A rich mix of white hydrangea, blue delphinium and tweedia, white roses and stock, and accents of ruscus foliage filled gold Lita compotes. What could be better for a classic summer wedding at St Francis Hall that a timeless design of white blooms with a pop of something blue?
