Intimate Brunch Wedding at the Four Seasons

Amanda and Brandan’s intimate brunch wedding at the Four Seasons in Washington, DC was at once cozy and intimate, romantic and elegant, and dramatic and joyful. We had the honor of working with this beautiful couple to bring their wedding to life. The couple wanted to both honor the clean lines of the space and lend a garden, early fall feel.

Burgundy and Blush Palette

A classic, soft palette of ivory, blush and burgundy blooms were accented with touches of rose gold. Amanda carried a beidermeier style bouquet of concentric rings of white ranunculus and roses, blush garden roses, and burgundy roses and dahlia. Brandan’s boutonnière featured a single burgundy rose finished with eucalyptus.

Intimate Ceremony

While most people think of the hotel for its grand reception spaces, the Conservatory is a uniquely intimate space. It was a perfect choice for brunch wedding. An asymmetrical group of flowers accented the ceremony, with pedestals topped with lush designs of  hydrangea, stock, roses, dahlia, and lisianthus in shades of burgundy, blush and white finished with touches of seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus for texture.

Romantic Reception

Amanda and Brandan’s brunch wedding at the Four Seasons reception in the Dumbarton Room was both beautiful and intimate. A lush design green guests at the escort card table, ringed with glowing candles in rose gold containers. Inside the ballroom, long king’s tables were anchored with elevated designs atop clear glass pilsner vases. Each were designed using white hydrangea, blush and white stock, roses in shades of ivory, blush, and burgundy, burgundy dahlia, and white lisianthus, accented with seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus. A garland of eucalyptus foliage spanned the length of the tables, while petite, monochromatic arrangements of roses in shades of ivory, blush and burgundy peeked out from gleaming rose gold containers.

Being part of Amanda and Brandan’s brunch wedding at the Four Seasons was such a pleasure. We thank this lovely couple for including us in their celebration!

Scenes from holiday pasts and present. While December tends to be a low volume time for weddings, we love the range of things we have gotten to do, from inviting the community into our studio for wreath workshops to helping businesses and hotels decorate with garland, trees and more for the holidays. Do you have a favorite way to decorate?

We will be closing soon for a much needed holiday break. See you in the new year!

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
