Bethesda Country Club cherry blossom wedding

Jessica and Ben’s wedding ceremony took place on a perfect day in early April on the terrace of the Bethesda Country Club. Cherry blossoms were in full bloom, which was perfect, since Jessica had focused her color palette and decor on the area’s signature bloom. Inspired by the soft pinks and whites of the seasonal blossoms, for the cherry blossom wedding, the bride carried a bouquet of white anemone, ranunculus, lisianthus, spray roses and pink peonies, accented with long trailing snapdragons for that perfect accent of looseness. The palette was also a perfect touch for the refined and elegant atmosphere of the clubhouse.

The ceremony took place on the outdoor terrace. The couple was flanked by two lush, pink and white cherry branches flanked the couple as they recited their vows. Tall glass cylinder vases held the natural branches, which featured both pink and white blossoms.

Cherry blossoms are easily one of the most sought after blooms for spring weddings in the Washington, DC area. Our iconic tidal basin trees, a gift from Japan, symbolize the natural beauty of our nation’s capital city. The reception centerpieces for this cherry blossom wedding were a perfect blend of high and low. The tall designs embraced the architectural and natural grandeur of the branches. For the low designs, modern romance was in full bloom, as submerged cherry blossom branches, callas and orchids were featured within the vases.

Jessica and Ben’s wedding was cherry blossom perfection. It was such a pleasure helping bring their vision to life.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.

A night of mystery and masquerade — and the perfect way to fête the 10th anniversary of The Scout Guide Alexandria and the launch of Vol. 10! ✨

We loved adding our signature touch of floral drama to this year’s launch party at the Hotel Heron. From a moody and dramatic entrance piece to a flower-filled car, sculptural arrangements on cocktail tables and elevated bar arrangements casting feathered shadows and moody textures, this event let us play in a world of whimsy and wonder.

We’re proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Supporting local means investing in the makers, doers, and dreamers who make Alexandria vibrant — and The Scout Guide does just that, beautifully. Cheers to Vol. 10! Special thanks to Sarah and Claire for always being so supportive and encouraging.
