Belle Haven Country Club Wedding

Wedding party for summer wedding at Belle Haven Country Club
Every detail of Angela and Christopher’s Belle Haven Country Club wedding in Alexandria, Virginia, exuded timeless beauty and sophistication, from the bride’s elegant French hand-tied bouquet to the exquisite table arrangements. The day began with a traditional ceremony at Good Shephard Catholic Church, with the reception to follow at Belle Haven.

It was the height of peony season, so it was all the more appropriate that the wedding party carried lush peonies, opened to perfection, Angela’s bouquet in white and the bridesmaids in light pink. The soft hue contrasted beautifully with the bridesmaids’ plum dresses. And completing the wedding party’s attire, the groom wore a masculine mini-calla lily boutonniere and his groomsmen eggplant mini-calla lilies, each accented with artful loops of bear grass. These floral accessories added a dash of sophistication to the men’s attire.

As guests arrived at Belle Haven Country Club for the wedding, they were greeted with a striking topiary-style design of purple grapes fashioned into a pineapple, adding a whimsical touch to the traditional welcome.

The design for the guest tables showcased a simple elegance that left a lasting impression. Each table featured a cake plate filled with a delightful assortment of dark purple fruit – plums, grapes, and black figs tastefully accented with darkly hued blooms including chocolate cosmos, eggplant mini-calla lilies and burgundy scabiosa.. Surrounding the arrangements were three small bowls, holding a single light pink peony blossom floating gracefully within each vase.

Our couple’s Belle Haven Country Club wedding richly fulfilled their personal style and taste, enchanted with elegant floral designs. From the bride’s elegant hand-tied bouquet to the exquisite table arrangements, each bloom captured the essence of their love and joy.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
