I have always liked to say that we are in the magic business. Our job is literally to make people’s dreams go from rough ideas, vague words, Pinterest pictures, and sloppy sketches to absolute joy. Flowers make people happy. For the past 16 years, from our studio in Alexandria, Petal’s Edge has had the honor of flowering thousands (!!) of weddings with our small but mighty team. Creating for all of our couples has been such an absolute joy. To this day, showing a bride her wedding bouquet is one of my greatest rewards.
During the time I’ve been in business, we have weathered ups and downs. We stay quietly in the background, focused on our weddings and events, turning down many requests for daily flower deliveries. The times we are currently in, though, are like no other. I’ve spent the past few months talking with brides, grooms, even parents as they have rescheduled events or pondered alternatives. As a result, it is clear that as a company we now need to shift our attentions.
Weddings will always be a big part of what we do at Petal’s Edge, but we also want to make our flowers available for all of life’s celebrations. And most of all, we want to still be here when our couples’ celebrations *do* happen, which is why we are introducing our Alexandria flower shop – Shop Petal’s Edge.

Operating from our Old Town Alexandria flower shop and studio, we are offering no contact flower delivery and curbside pick up options.
