Winter St Francis Hall Wedding

Winter St Francis Hall Wedding

It was such a joy to work with Mary and Peter on their winter St Francis Hall wedding. In addition to doing their flowers, we also assisted them with day-of event management. Despite their complicated schedule and large wedding party, everyone was just happy and relaxed all day long! They were so clearly in love with each other, and it was so evident that they were just overjoyed to be getting married and being with their friends and family. A fun day was had by all, including our staff. It was a fantastic party!

Their flowers featured a crisp palette of cool whites and blues – perfect for a winter St Francis Hall wedding. Mary’s bouquet featured a textured mix of ivory roses and spray roses, white stock, ranunculus and tulips, blue muscari, and light blue delphinium.

The bridesmaids each carried simpler bouquets of roses, ranunculus, spray roses, tulips and stock in shades of white and ivory to contrast with their bright blue dresses. The boutonnieres were designed using white ranunculus.

The ceremony took place at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Arlington. The simple sanctuary was accented with an urn design in whites and light blues placed in front of the altar.

The winter St Francis Hall wedding reception was a whimsical mix of personal touches, which we had so much fun helping them bring together. Globes the couple had collected were placed on each of the tables, to highlight the multiple places they had lived and visited. Peter had proposed while they had been on a bike ride, so a bicycle motif was found in strategic places throughout the reception. Amazing pies from Pie Sisters took the place of the traditional cake.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your day! Congratulations Mary and Peter!

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
