A winter District Winery wedding is pure magic, and Amanda and Matt’s celebration was no exception. With a palette of soft blues and crisp whites, their wedding was the perfect blend of seasonal elegance and modern romance.
Located on the waterfront in Washington, DC, District Winery offers a stunning setting for any wedding, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, warm wood interiors, and industrial-chic charm. This space provided the perfect backdrop for a winter wedding, where twinkling lights and lush florals transformed the venue into an intimate, candlelit wonderland.
The grand staircase was dressed in cascading smilax, adding a beautiful welcome to the venue as guests moved into the wedding space. Above, an enchanting ceiling installation wove together more greenery and delicate blooms, bringing a touch of the outdoors and a winter whimsy to the venue.
For the ceremony, a greenery backdrop adorned with smilax foliage and lush white florals framed Amanda and Matt as they exchanged vows. Wine barrels topped with voluminous arrangements of white hydrangea, roses, stock, and delicate Queen Anne’s lace, finished with abundance accents of eucalyptus foliage, flanked the ceremony altar, creating a beautifully organic yet refined look.
For the reception, soft blue table runners draped elegantly across the long tables, complementing arrangements of light blue delphinium, white roses, and dusty miller foliage. The head table featured glass-enclosed light blue taper candles interspersed with lush florals and trailing greenery, while a twinkling greenery backdrop behind the sweetheart table made for a picture-perfect setting.
Amanda and Matt’s winter District Winery wedding was a breathtaking blend of seasonal beauty and timeless elegance—proof that winter weddings can be just as dreamy as their summer counterparts. Cheers to a celebration that was as warm and inviting as it was stunning!
