Located at one of our favorite spots in Washington, DC, today we highlight a fresh fall for Westin Georgetown Hotel wedding. Centrally located between Georgetown and downtown DC, it is an ideal wedding venue for couples. The striking ballroom features towering columns, hardwood floors, clean modern decor and a European-style courtyard with an elegant fountain and surrounded by walls of French windows. It’s the perfect blend of old and new.
Kate and Sam were a dream to work with, and the pandemic gave us an extra year to look forward to the special event. Kate knew she wanted a fresh fall aesthetic for their Westin Georgetown Hotel wedding full of crisp whites and greens. Romantic white florals were accented with fine textures such as Queen Anne’s lace, larkspur, ranunculus, lisianthus, and more. Soft green silver dollar and parvifolia were mixed in to provide movement. We love how the soft greens were off set by the deeper green of the bridesmaids’ dresses and other wedding details.
Guests arrived for the wedding to see lush textures everywhere. Gorgeous smilax foliage graced a heavy wood ceremony arch, escort card table design and the sweetheart table backdrop. Elegant drapery added a chic and romantic detail. And lush low floral in gold cube vases were just about everywhere else. It was a day we’d love to relive! Congrats to Kate and Sam! We loved working with you and wish you nothing but the best!
