Light-filled Romantic Winter Wedding Ceremony at Virtue Feed and Grain
Virtue Feed and Grain was the perfect location for the this gorgeous winter wedding. The asymmetrically suspended garland that we designed was the perfect backdrop for their dreamy wedding ceremony. The garland was full lush white and ivory blooms. The mix of white and ivory roses and spray roses, astilbe and Queen Anne’s lace popped so well amongst the deep rich greens, with tiny fairy lights adding a magical twinkle.
Molly and Dan had an overhead canopy of suspended lights, with strategically placed hanging gold terrarium leading the way to the floral arch. The romantic vision for the winter wedding ceremony and the intimate location set this beautiful wedding apart from so many others.
Romantic Winter Wedding Reception at Virtue Feed and Grain
The raw space of Virtue Feed and Grain is unique to begin with. The historic building that houses the restaurant dates back to the 1800s, when it was once a feed house. Reclaimed wood throughout lends a rustic elegance to the space. To create a more romantic winter wedding feel, the space was softened with strands of twinkle lights crisscrossing the space. To warm up the room, an eclectic mix of centerpieces in gold containers and gold mercury glass candles complemented the cozy atmosphere that the couple envisioned. Centerpieces used wintry grays and greens as the base, such as dusty miller, ruscus and eucalyptus, peppered with a recipe of blush, white and ivory blooms. Roses and spray roses were accented with wispy white astilbe and Queen Anne’s lace.
Congratulations to Molly and Dan! Thank you for trusting us with our small part, and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!
