They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck, but it doesn’t seem to be something this happy couple needs at all! It certainly doesn’t look like it put a damper on Taryn and Harrison’s vibrant Hotel Monaco wedding day. We just think it makes for some amazing and fun pictures!
Taryn carried a bright and colorful bouquet of lush fuchsia peonies and stock, accented with deep purple lisianthus and calla lilies and finished with lavender roses for lightness. Her bridesmaids carried bouquets of similar flowers but in mixed purple and lavender tones.
The unique architecture of the ballroom at the Hotel Monaco provides the perfect space for a dramatic suspended chuppah! Rather than erecting a separate structure, we were able to use the ballroom’s striking columns to suspend the canopy, making it seem like it is floating in mid air above them. Delicate strands of purple dendrobium orchid blooms strung on monofilament hung from each corner to add to the ethereal feel.
Alternating tall and low centerpieces in shades of fuchsia and purple accented with lavender made the reception tables elegant and the perfect choice for the vibrant Hotel Monaco wedding. It was the perfect contrast to the rainy weather outside!
