It was on a beautiful day in May that Mojy and Kurt got married at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The timeless museum wedding featured a lush array of blooms in elegant corals, peaches and pale pinks. Mojy carried an elegant bouquet of coral peonies, peach “Juliet” garden roses, ivory spray roses, light pink sweet pea, peach stock, and accents of jasmine vine for a loose garden touch. Kurt’s boutonniere complemented the bride’s bouquet, designed using a coral rose and touches of jasmine vine. The ceremony was flanked by two arrangements from the reception – two lush designs of baby’s breath on a elegant, gold-toned cathedral candelabra.
The reception featured a mix of round tables and stately king’s tables, with a mix of centerpieces to create an elegant and romantic feel. Tall cathedral candelabra with baby’s breath were placed on both round tables as well as on the king’s tables, accented with simple glass bud vases with garden flowers in shades of light pink and peach accented with green. Classic glass footed bowls were placed on the remaining round tables, featuring a lush, textured design of white hydrangea, peach stock, ivory “Vendela” roses, ivory spray roses, light pink sweet pea and light pink lisianthus. Touches of jasmine vine and seeded eucalyptus conveyed a garden looseness and texture. And in the ultimate piece de resistance, there were not one, not two, but a display of three cakes on the cake table! Each cake was finished with a mix of wedding flowers to give a romantic feel.
