Cocktail hour is one of our favorite opportunities to expand on a couple’s wedding aesthetic, and Michelle & Timothy’s celebration at the Omni Shoreham was no exception. We created overflowing garden baskets to anchor their seating wall and welcome mirror, filled to the brim with lush garden roses, hydrangea, hybrid delphinium and stock in pastel hues. The result was whimsical yet refined, perfectly tying together the day’s lush, romantic style and setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. 🌿💐

There’s something unforgettable about soft romance meeting industrial architecture, and Becca and David’s wedding at the Torpedo Factory captured that perfectly. ✨ Their vision of a whimsical forest wonderland came alive through a custom chuppah of curly willow branches, lacy lady`s mantel and Queen Anne`s lace, green hanging amaranthus, green hypericum berries, lotus pods, and for lushness and color the addition of spray roses, stock, lisianthus and dendrobium orchids in shades of white and purple. The raw, urban edges of the venue made the lush, woodsy canopy feel even more enchanting, transforming the space into an ethereal garden in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. 🌿

Will we ever be over the dramatic transformation of the ballroom at the Omni Shoreham for Michelle & Timothy`s wedding? I don’t think so! Julianne was a dream client. The kind who trusted us to take her vision and translate it into something both tasteful and artful. ✨ A black-and-white floral palette is timeless, but here it felt especially modern and chic. Some of our favorite design moments? The custom black arch, ribbed glass chimneys encasing taper candles, and those statement white trees framing the aisle entrance and later the bar. The perfect details for a wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. 🖤🤍
