Danielle and Geoffrey had the ultimate romantic and intimate Tabard Inn wedding. The floral scheme was filled with romantic soft hues and garden textures set against classic DC sites and backdrops. The day began with a lovely first look at the Spanish Steps and photos in Dupont Circle – so quintessentially DC!
Danielle and her maid of honor carried stunning bouquets in classic whites and ivories, soft peaches and natural hints of green. The bouquets were so full of rich textures. Lush open garden roses and Cafe au Lait dahlia were paired with spray roses, stock, lisianthus, freesia for a gardeny touch. Feathery astilbe and astrantia added a vintage lightness, while air plants, succulents, and seeded eucalyptus lent both texture and a quirky element to the design. The groom’s boutonniere featured a white lisianthus blossom accented with seeded eucalyptus. The ceremony took place at the regal St. Matthew’s Cathedral. We love how happy and joyful they look in these photos!
The wedding reception followed at the Tabard Inn. An elegant garland of seeded eucalyptus accented with lush garden roses, stock, and succulents graced the fireplace mantles. For a vintage and romantic touch, the tables alternated between eclectic assortments of mercury glass vases and glass footed bowls holding hydrangea, garden roses, stock, dahlia, succulents and air plants finished with seeded eucalyptus. Small mercury glass cuts held petite potted succulents. We loved how air plants providing a finishing touch to the cake.
Thank you for trusting us with your Tabard Inn wedding! We wish you many years of happiness together.
