A lush chuppah that looked like it was plucked from gorgeous gardens of the Omni Shoreham and a bright blue summer sky – it was a perfect setting for Alicia and Robby’s summer wedding at the Omni Shoreham. Bamboo poles supported a canopy of natural white silk dupioni, and an asymmetrical design of lemon leaf, ivy, smilax, and jasmine vine accented one corner and draped enchantingly down one of the sides of the chuppah. Woven into the lush garland were white lisianthus, ivory spray roses, and white spirea and the garland was further accented with fairy lights.
Alicia’s exquisite bridal bouquet was bursting with luxurious flowers: white peonies, ivory garden roses, Café au Lait dahlia, and touches of pale pink Sweet Eskimo roses. The bridesmaids’ dresses picked up the champagne tones of the bridal bouquet in a dreamy, light palette of ivories, pale blush pink, and gold. Their flowers were lush bouquets of white dahlia, ivory Vendela roses, and white lisianthus. It also hid a pinstripe surprise: the bride is a Yankees fan!
The summer Omni Shoreham wedding reception was the stuff of midsummer night dreams: fairy lights, candles, and nearly a hundred posies of flowers on the tables. Feathery astilbe, lush peonies, and playful snapdragons added to the whimsical atmosphere of the evening.
