We adore weddings at St. Francis Hall. Pair gorgeous stone architecture with natural light pouring in through windows and you have the recipe for a florist’s dream! It’s true – we get excited about every wedding, but it was truly a dream to realize Lilly and Ryan’s vision last spring.
Spring weddings call for bright, colorful flowers. And we created exactly that for Lilly and Ryan’s bridal party. Against beautiful blush dresses, we created a pastel floral palette of corals, pinks, whites with touches of blue for Lilly that were a perfect fit for a St. Francis Hall wedding.
It’s very clear that Lilly LOVES flowers as we discussed not one but two potential, and equally stunning floral palettes. What both looks had in common was a love of a lush garden vibe. At the start of the aisle, we placed two large floral arrangements atop of pedestals. And though two more flanked the arch, you can tell by the expression on their faces that the ceremony did not need more dressing up than their enthusiastic smiles.
Following the garden ceremony, guests transitioned to the great hall. Urn flowers were re-purposed our cathedral candlesticks on two long King’s tables flanking the hall. In keeping with the spring aesthetic, pale blue taper candles surrounded low arrangements bursting with ranunculus, garden roses, lisianthus and stock in spring corals, peaches, pinks, whites and blues.
Thank you for entrusting us with your St. Francis Hall wedding day! And may you have many blissful years ahead of you!
