Sally and Kevin’s wedding at the Torpedo Factory Art Center is exactly why we love this venue so much. It gives you contrast. Edge. And then you layer in blush, ivory, pale green, and gold? Magic.⁣

Her bouquet was all the good stuff: white peonies, Cafe au Lait dahlias, garden roses, and the prettiest hint of blush. Classic, but not boring. Elevated, but still emotional.⁣
And those ceremony arrangements? Pulled double duty into the reception (because yes, we’re always thinking about that). Soft romance in an industrial space just hits differently.⁣

It was all about subtle contrast. Low, textured white arrangements layered with smoke glass, petite vases, and candlelight that actually did its job, casting that warm, flattering glow across the room. A few elevated pieces pulled the eye upward, connecting the space without overwhelming it. Nothing excessive, just beautifully considered from every angle⁣

This Saturday, we are back at one of our absolute favorite venues, and the art historian in me will never not be giddy to work at a venue like this one. ⁣

Oh the places we go! Working inside Folger Shakespeare Library is such a full circle moment for me. I once worked in art museums, so being back in a space like this (now with flowers?!) just makes me so happy.
