Spring Archer Hotel Wedding

Spring Archer Hotel Wedding

There is no place in Alexandria more perfect for a small, intimate wedding than the gorgeous Archer Hotel, formerly the Lorien (except perhaps for perhaps fellow Alexandria boutique hotel – the Morrison House!). Yoko and Marc began their spring Archer Hotel wedding with nuptials downtown at the historic St. Matthews Cathedral in DC, before retiring to our equally historic city of Alexandria, for the reception.

For their flowers, Yoko chose a light spring color palette of whites, greens and pale pinks. In keeping with the spring colors, we suggested using spring flowers like lilac, sweet pea, ranunculus and tulips, accented with touches of classic flowers like roses for a touch of pink, for her bouquet.

For the reception, simple square glass vases, lined on the inside with green aspidistra leaf, were filled with white hydrangea, green parrot tulips, white ranunculus, green cabbage roses and white lilac. It was the perfect choice for a spring, Archer Hotel wedding.

Scenes from holiday pasts and present. While December tends to be a low volume time for weddings, we love the range of things we have gotten to do, from inviting the community into our studio for wreath workshops to helping businesses and hotels decorate with garland, trees and more for the holidays. Do you have a favorite way to decorate?

We will be closing soon for a much needed holiday break. See you in the new year!

MOODY ROMANCE ✨ Daryn & Kelsey’s wedding last weekend was the definition of moody romance. A room glowing in candlelight, black linens setting the stage for elevated greenery hedges kissed 💋 with baby’s breath and dreamy hanging glass globes cradling flickering votives. Black and deep plum tapers paired with glass chimneys added a touch of drama, while the sweetheart table gave our couple the place of honor, accented with lush greenery and flowers in soft mauve and blush.

Every detail felt like it was straight out of a modern fairytale. 🖤 🤍 ✨ What’s your favorite part of this stunning set up?
