Fresh Spring DC Wedding at Hotel Monaco

First dance at Kimpton hotel monaco wedding

Just when you thought green, white and black couldn’t get any more chic, here’s come this stunning spring DC wedding at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC. Elle and Yonatan had a such a fresh spring wedding at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC. Their classic floral palette of green and white was filled with spring textures and the unique addition of anemone. Elle’s bouquet was filled with many of our favorites – classic white roses, striking black-eyed anemone, frilly sweet pea and that crowd favorite ranunculus. Touches of Italian ruscus foliage created looseness. Yoni’s boutonniere featured a simple white ranunculus blossom.

We have a stunning, custom designed suspended chuppah for ceremonies in the Kimpton Hotel Monaco ballroom, and it was the perfect choice for Elle and Yoni’s modern sensibilities. The fabric beautifully captures the light streaming through the rotunda, appearing to float magically above the couple as they recite their vows.

Every wedding needs a memorable element, and in Elle and Yoni’s case, the show-stopper truly transformed the room. Smilax greenery climbed as if effortlessly up the columns of the rotunda, surrounding the couple for ceremony and reception. We love how the greenery created intimacy for their personal ceremony and their first dance. For the reception, guest tables were set with gold bowls. Each compote was filled with a classic design of white hydrangea, roses, garden roses, tulips, and stock, finished with lemon leaf and ruscus foliage.

We wish these two nothing but the best in their new life together. Check out their gallery below to see how their wedding at the  Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC wedding came together!

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.

A night of mystery and masquerade — and the perfect way to fête the 10th anniversary of The Scout Guide Alexandria and the launch of Vol. 10! ✨

We loved adding our signature touch of floral drama to this year’s launch party at the Hotel Heron. From a moody and dramatic entrance piece to a flower-filled car, sculptural arrangements on cocktail tables and elevated bar arrangements casting feathered shadows and moody textures, this event let us play in a world of whimsy and wonder.

We’re proud to be part of a guide that champions small businesses and celebrates creativity in our community. Supporting local means investing in the makers, doers, and dreamers who make Alexandria vibrant — and The Scout Guide does just that, beautifully. Cheers to Vol. 10! Special thanks to Sarah and Claire for always being so supportive and encouraging.
