Sarah and Bryan’s spring DAR wedding took place during the exact moment when coral peonies were at their absolute best. And good thing, too, because they were everywhere! Sarah’s bouquet featured the most stunning Coral Charm peonies, accented with soft peach Juliet garden roses and wisps of Italian ruscus forming a light collar. The bridesmaids’ carried simple bouquets of coral peonies, that brought a lovely color contrast to their charcoal dresses. Bryan’s boutonniere featured white dendrobium orchids accented with seeded eucalyptus, bear grass and ruscus. The ruscus and orchid motif was carried through to the design of the flower girl’s precious hair crown.
The spring DAR wedding ceremony took place under the portico. Positioned in front of two of the grand column were elegant wrought iron stands, each holding a dramatic spray of crisp, white dendrobium orchids.
Mossy greens punctuated with corals set the tone for the reception. Monogram wreaths sat at the fireplace mantle, accented with peony blossoms in petite mercury glass cups. A grand, long table dressed in a moss green pin tuck linen formed the centerpiece for the reception, spanning the length of the O’Byrne Gallery. Four dramatic spray of white dendrobium orchids were strategically placed along the table, with coral peonies forming a runner of color. Elegant mercury glass vases held coral peonies with wisps of ruscus finishing the look. The effect was grand and personal at the same time.
