Courtney and William’s rustic wedding at River View at Occoquan was an absolute delight to be a part of. Every detail, from the beautiful tones of burgundy and blush to the charming rustic accents, came together seamlessly. We couldn’t have been happier working with such a stunning fall palette.

For Courtney’s elegant bridal bouquet, we carefully selected a blend of Cafe au Lait dahlias, burgundy dahlias, Quicksand roses, ivory spray roses, burgundy and white scabiosa, and burgundy astilbe. To add a touch of greenery, we incorporated succulents, and for the finishing touches, we added dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus foliage. The bouquet was a breathtaking reflection of Courtney’s sophisticated style.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were equally enchanting, designed to complement the bridal bouquet. Each lush, French hand-tied bouquet showcased roses, spray roses, dahlias, and scabiosa in neutral hues, accented with dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus foliage. The result was a cohesive and captivating floral arrangement that perfectly matched the rustic charm of the wedding.

William’s boutonnière featured a burgundy spray rose, complemented by burgundy astilbe and seeded eucalyptus. The remaining boutonnières were created with ivory spray roses and seeded eucalyptus, adding a touch of elegance to the groom and groomsmen’s attire.

The ceremony took center stage with a striking focal point—an arch adorned with an elegant garland of seeded eucalyptus, draped across the top and trailing down the sides. The garland featured a stunning array of burgundy and Cafe au Lait dahlias, ivory spray roses, and Black Magic and Quicksand roses. The rustic beauty of the garland perfectly framed the couple as they exchanged their vows.

At the reception, gold, geometric terrariums graced the center of half the guest tables. These enchanting terrariums contained a bed of moss, from which bloomed a natural and organic design of burgundy scabiosa, ivory spray roses, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus. Delicate touches of jasmine vine and seeded eucalyptus added a whimsical touch. The remaining guest tables were adorned with classic, gold-trimmed vases, each holding a bridesmaid’s bouquet, creating a cohesive and elegant ambiance throughout the reception.

Courtney and William’s rustic wedding at River View at Occoquan still brings a smile to our faces. We hope the happiness and beauty of their special day continues to bloom for a lifetime. If you’re planning your own rustic wedding, let us create a floral wonderland that captures the essence of your love story.

A rooftop celebration that proves timeless can still be bold. For Elaine & Trey’s wedding at Capitol View at 400, we leaned into classic green and white, but elevated it with sculptural greenery installations, gold Harlow stands, and skyline views that stretched for miles. A ceiling of foliage softened the tented space, while sleek black bridesmaid dresses added contrast and edge. Clean, refined, and impossibly romantic.

It’s Bike to Work Day — and while we usually pedal toward petals, we couldn’t resist sharing this creative twist from Elle & Bryan, one of our couples who wheeled their love of cycling straight into the ceremony. 🚲✨

Elle & Bryan’s wedding at Dumbarton House was full of charm, personal touches, and one especially fun nod to their love of cycling. Bicycle wheels became sculptural backdrops, proving that when it comes to personal touches, there’s no such thing as too niche.

Designing florals around unexpected objects? That’s our lane. And yes — it was all uphill in the best possible way.
