Boy, oh, boy, did we have a journey to “I Do” with Annie and Sean! When we first started discussions, our beloved couple had their sights on a winter glam, New Year’s eve wedding with lots of sparkly and a modern, black-white-and gold scheme. The uncertainty introduced early in the pandemic, however, put plans on hold, and then finally, with the increased confidence that “doing a pandemic” brought us all, they plunged forward with a June wedding. Despite the setbacks, and with some small tweaks to the overall design, their romantic summer blush wedding came to be!
Annie and her bridesmaids got ready at home, following by a traditional ceremony at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Vienna, VA. The ladies held bouquets of fluffy white peonies, white roses, white lisianthus and touches of eucalyptus foliage. Following the exchange of vows, family and friends made their way to the Hyatt Regency in Tyson’s Corner for an evening to remember. Guests found their seats at round tables decorated with high and low centerpieces. Modern gold stands were topped with lush white and blush garden blooms accented with greenery, while glass globed held suspended candles for a hint of twinkle and magic. A collection of pillar and floating candles on the remaining tables contributed the the romantic ambiance of the romantic summer blush wedding. All we can say is worth the wait!
