Rustic Mauve Hendry House Wedding

Rustic Mauve Hendry House Wedding

If ever there was an “it” color scheme last year, this was it. Mauve… that gorgeous, muted shade of pale purple with tinges of gray. Not too bold, not too pink, not quite pastel and not too purple. It’s an elegant and romantic color, and perfectly suited to the rustic mauve Hendry House wedding Sarah and Shane had in mind. While Sarah and Shane had a spring wedding in mind when they began their planning, despite rescheduling to fall, their floral palette was completely available for their new date, and a perfect wedding date remained.

We created a floral palette to compliment the casual and rustic vision for the wedding using a mix of white, blush, pink, and mauve blooms rounded out with grays and green. Amnesia roses and mauve astrantia were complemented with pale pink Sweet Eskimo roses, light pink astilbe and white anemone for striking contrast. Plenty of dusty miller and eucalyptus foliage lent the casual and rustic touch to the rustic mauve Hendry House wedding. Sarah’s bouquet in particular stood out with luscious Cafe au Lait dahlia, while Shane’s boutonniere featured a small succulent. The neutral tones in the rustic Hendry House wedding palette let the soft tones of the bridesmaids’ dresses stand out.

To capture the rustic wedding vision, we birch poles for the otherwise simple, striking chuppah. Simple mason jars held pouf of light pink hydrangea, the only color for the ceremony.

Rustic farm tables were laid with burlap table runners and set with an eclectic mix of milk glass, rustic cans, depression glass, mercury glass and mason jars. For the rustic mauve Hendry House wedding, the containers each held lush designs of wedding flowers ranging from delicate astilbe and astrantia, wispy baby’s breath, and gardeny roses, stock, and foliage. A sprig of ruscus finished each place setting.

Industrial spaces have a beauty of their own, but the right floral design can take them from warehouse to urban garden. 🌿✨

For Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding, we played with scale—tall magnolia branches to emphasize the height, lush florals to soften the space, and candlelight to add warmth. The result? An urban oasis that felt both grand and intimate.

1️⃣Go Big with Greenery – Tall magnolia branches brought height and movement to Laura & Michael’s Dock 5 wedding

2️⃣ Mix Textures – Lush, low floral arrangements softened the industrial edges while keeping the space dynamic

3️⃣ Layer Candlelight – Warm glows + metal details = a romantic urban oasis

4️⃣ Frame Key Spaces – A floral garland on the head table grounded the design and added intimacy. Trees flanking the table took it to the next level

5️⃣ Contrast is Key – Pairing the raw, industrial elements with soft florals and organic details created the perfect balance

Not all green and white floral palettes are created equal. This one here will NEVER go out of style and is truly as timeless as they come! Magnolia, eucalyptus, rosemary, and delicate touches of white… Add velvet linens and gold touches, and we’re smitten... 😍
